ü The Madras High Court on Wednesday banned online sale of medicines

ü They could be sold only in pharmacies on the prescription of a registered medical practitioner.

ü Directed the Union Ministry of Health and the competent authorities under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.

üసులభతర వాణిజ్యం ( ఈజ్ ఆఫ్ డూయింగ్ బిజినెస్ ) ర్యాంకుల్లో గతేడాది కంటే 23 స్థానాలు ఎగబాకి 77వ రాంక్ సాధించింది . 

üప్రపంచ బ్యాంకు విడుదల చేసిన డూయింగ్ బీజినెస్ 2019 లో ఈ విషయాన్ని వెల్లడించింది .

üప్రపంచ బ్యాంకు 190 దేశాల్లోని పరిస్థితులను పది పరిమితుల ఆధారంగా అంచనా వేసి ఈ రాంక్ ను ప్రకటించింది . 

üఈ ర్యాంకుల్లో న్యూజిలాండ్ అగ్రస్థానంలో ఉండగా , సింగపూర్ , డెన్మార్క్ , హాంకాంగ్ తర్వాతి స్థానాల్లో నిలిచాయి . అమెరికా 8 వ స్థానం , చైనా 46వ స్థానం , పాకిస్తాన్ 136వ స్థానం లో నిలిచాయి .

ü India jumped 23 ranks in the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Index 2018 to 77. 

ü The Index ranks 190 countries based on 10 indicators across the life-cycle of a business, from “starting a business” to “resolving insolvency.”

ü  Newzealand gained Top Rank ,

ü  Singapore , Denmark , Hongkong are in 2 , 3 , 4  ranks

ü  America – 8th spot , China – 46th Spot , Pakistan is in 136th Spot.
